Restaurants of Leros
One of the great assets of Restaurants of Leros is that they are often by the sea with their feet in the water to make dinner or lunch very pleasant. The tavern, the kitchen, the exit at the restaurant is one of the highlights in the life in Greece. You will be received almost at all hours of the day and night even if there are no other guests, your meal may last as long as you like.
Specificity: You order and the dishes all arrive together as they are ready for the kitchen and you can have a number of important dishes on the table. The tavern will not offer you DESSERT
(the dessert is made in the pastries so as to extend the evenings until the end of the night!) other than an ice cream but will generously offer you fruit, often watermelon in a ritual of hospitality.
A small specificity to finish: it is necessary according to Greek law to have a license to have a restaurant with a custodian for the diploma of cook. However in the spirit of the Greek lifestyle, you can enjoy magnificent masses in all the bars especially if it’s the time of the Ouzo, of course !!
